Mosher, Daniel, of Avondale, Hants County (c.1801-1900) The Evening Mail, Thursday, 11 October 1900, p. 7: Died - At Avondale, Hants, October 6th, Daniel MOSHER, son of Nicholas MOSHER and grandson of James MOSHER, who came to Newport in 1760 from Rhode Island with other emigrants who took up the township of Newport. Daniel was the last of his generation of children of the late Nicholas MOSHER and was 99 years, six months and 15 days old.
